#3 This image works. Strong composition, good lighting, and excellent focus. There is something stretching across the upper left corner that is a bit detracting, but it is a minor detractor.
#4 The viewer can almost feel the silky texture in the subject of this image. Side lighting brings out the detail in the subject. The vignette guides the viewer’s eye to the subject, and the background is sufficiently blurred to not be distracting .
