#3. This is a pleasant image. The photographer was conscious of the technical aspects of competition photography, and they are strong. This judge finds the out-of-focus leaf of the lenten rose to be distracting. Likewise, the blooms in the bokeh behind the center-of-interest tend to compete with the center-of-interest. The red bloom is particularly distracting.
