#3. Converting this image to B&W maximizes the texture and "mood" of this flower, but the background seriously pulls the eye away from this strong subject. The rules of this challenge permit post-processing, which contains tools that can significantly reduce these distractions.
#5. This is a great image that has contrast and depth of field. The mid tones could be brought a little more to provide a balance of black, gray and whites. Great image.
