Composition is the challenge of this image. The photographer would have had to be a bit higher to get a perspective that would maximize the curves of the road and poles. Also, cropping the right of the image to just to the right of the peak of the ridge would make the image stronger. Burn the white areas of the sign on the left, the house in the center, and the speed sign on the right. And there is the issue of the blank blue sky, for which a polarizing filter is not a photographer's friend."
