Judge's Comments:
#1 This is a strong and pleasing image with very strong technical elements overlayed on a study of contrasts between the very dark base and the bright colors of the flower and small pedals. This judge recommends cropping around the flower to focus the eye more directly on the center-of-interest. I also suggest cloning out the leaf in the upper center-right.

#3 This is a nice image. Some cropping from the bottom and right might help the flower stand out more.
#4 An obvious sharply focused subject with the stem being a leading line leading to the flower. The background is a little distracting. I feel it could be improved by tighter cropping. Nice image.
