Judge's Comments:
#1 Excellent focus and composition. The reflections in the water keep the dark surface from being a blank space. The water's dark surface compliments the colors of the water lily and the lily pads.

#3 This image needs cropping from the right if the lotus is the subject. When composing this shot focusing on the lotus and its reflection and limiting the leaves would have helped the lotus stand out. The leaves could have been an image separate from the lotus. The lotus needed to be just a little sharper on the right.
#4 Beautiful flower on the dark water. Unfortunately, I feel the flower is too close to the left edge and the green leaves are too dominant. Try sliding the composition to the left a little to see if it looks better.
