Judge's Comments:
#1 A very strong image, and the out-of-focus truck in the background works. Question: How do the out-of-focus gas pump and cut-off drum on the left contribute to the image? (Competition nit-picks: There is a dark line and the tip of a leaf in the upper right corner that should be eliminated.)
#2 Would have liked the background to be less apparent.
#3 I wanted to like this image but the composition makes it hard to determine what the subject is. If it is the red flowers then the path and truck are a distraction. If it is the truck, then the sharp flowers are a distraction.
#4 On first viewing the image I can't determine what the intended subject should be. My eye jumps between the pump/drum, truck, and flowers. I'm guessing the flowers could be the major subject, and if this is so, then brightening the flowers and darkening the background could improve the image.
