Judge's Comments:
#1 The pleasing lighting of this image hold's the viewer's eye and gives the rose depth. If the photographer dodged this image a bit to highlight/halo the rose, he/she did an excellent job.

#3 This is a great shot of a rose. There appears to be a filter on this image that I have a love/hate relationship with but in the end, it won me over. I would crop the left to eliminate the stem that is fairly sharp. The angle of this rose with the lighting makes it really stand out.
#4 Excellent technical image - exposure, sharpness, color, depth-of-field. The photo is pleasing to view. I would try cropping in just a little on the left to see if it helped.
