Judge's Comments:
#1 This is a good strong image with a strong center of interest and an appropriate nod to the rule of thirds. This judge recommends darkening the detracting light areas in the out-of-focus background. Also, consider cloning out the lighter green area in the lower right corner of the image.
#2 I think that it would be nine if the image were cropped as a Square and the plant was enlarged.
#3 This photo is a pleasing image that needs some cropping from the left and just a slight crop from the right to make the subject really stand out.
#4 A nice image. The soft background helps the subject flower stand out. The flower head is sharp and well-positioned. The background blue stem on the right is slightly distracting.
