Judges Comments:
#1 I like how the dynamic range between the bright highlights on the water and the shadows in the trees is well controlled. I also appreciate how the photographer captured the mirror image of the hillside reflecting in the water. That said, the strength of the reflection intrigues me more than the image of the boaters, which I presume are the intended objects of interest for the purpose of this assignment. It might be interesting to see several compositions of this setting, one with the boaters and one without, and one with the reflection and one without.
